THE SAVE SIDE
THE SAVE SIDE
Since the digital revolution started nothing stayed the way it was before. Every part of human life got digitalized and a lot smarter. But while the possibilties are growing almost endlessly, privacy and security are a mere afterthought for the leading tech companies. olmogo challenges the status quo by bringing smart data management solutions, revolutionary work concepts and absolute privacy and security together.
I was asked to create a full branding, from logo to typography and color, technical illustrations, a brochure and a webdesign. This is what I came up with.

2018 / 2019
The logo is a reflection of what olmogo is all about: Absolute privacy and security, new work concepts and modern ways of sharing. With olmogo every piece of data is strongly encrypted, scrambled into several pieces and then spread to various servers, being only readable when put together through user authentification. The 'O' shape of course is short for olmogo, but it also has a certain kind of anonymity to it. To reflect the complex technology behind olmogo the shape is literaly scrambled into two pieces: The 'O' and the 'dot'. Only when you combine them you get the full circle.
As data management in olmogo is organized in graph-like structures - which has striking resemblances to star structures in a galaxy when visualized - we took inspiration from star and planet constellations. So the 'O' shape works as the planet, while the trabant is circling around it. Additionally we took inspiration from the process of sharing. Though in olmogo sharing doesn't mean splitting or copying, the image of a giving away a piece of cake comes to mind when thinking about the term 'sharing'. Which is why the dot has exactly the same size as the the cutout of the 'O' shape.
We designed a printed editorial to showcase the core selling points, corporate values and the technological breakthrough that olmogo represents. Isometric illustrations help the reader understand the complicated mechanics behind the worlds most ambitious private data management and cloud service. They give a visual simplicity to the otherwise complex technological background.
Instead of common page numbers the logo gives a sense of orientation throughout the brochure, as the "trabant" moves around the center clockwise.
To give the public a first glance of how olmogo challenges the way we think about data management we created a simple, message-driven website. The site focuses on the unique selling points, positioning olmogo as the paradigm shift that it represents, while educating the reader about how the promise of absolute security and privacy is kept. Isometric illustrations help break those complex topics in a refreshing and simplifying manner.
THANKS FOR WATCHING.
